I am experienced in providing therapy, mentorship, and supervision for therapists and other mental health providers. My other specialties include youth and adolescents, trauma therapy, and Black mental health. I am licensed in the states of Alabama, Kentucky, Ohio & Texas and enjoy supporting people who are ready to do the work. Having walked the path of both a therapist and a client, I understand that no one is immune to the demands and stressors of life and that sometimes we all need that extra support and push to KEEP GOING. As you step onto this path of growth and understanding, know that I am here as a partner, a listener, and a guide. My goal as your therapist is to fully embrace your story and foster resilience to keep you moving forward in life in a way that feels authentic to your truth. I listen. I like to spend the first session allowing you to tell me your story. I will guide the session with questions, but I like to be intentional about allowing you to talk freely in a manner that feels comfortable to you. You are the captain of this experience, and my job is to ASSIST you in navigating how to move forward and KEEP GOING!.

The care options presented consist of treatment providers that we have assessed to be quality providers across a range of services for mental health, substance use, relationships, and other well-being needs. We aim to include only high quality providers and multiple viable options for those seeking care.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We only list providers where we have a contractual relationship with a network, group, or practice that a provider is a part of, or where we have a direct contractual relationship with the provider. That contract governs the terms of participation on the Psych Hub site, and in some cases, as mentioned below, the provider’s, group’s, or network’s use of Psych Hub's educational content. There is no other affiliation between Psych Hub and the providers listed on our site.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
