Erika Miller
I was always the informal counselor of my friend group and have had a passion for personal growth and wellness. After growing through my own life experiences, I decided to make a career of helping others. I studied Psychology in undergrad and later earned my MSW in 2010. Since then, I've provided therapy to adults and children affected by substance use (in both schools and inpatient rehabs) and have also provided general mental health counseling to children and families (in a community clinic). I believe that you are the expert on your life and the keys to healing are within you! Through solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavior concepts, I aim to guide you to reconnect with yourself in order to find answers and resources within and move closer to alignment with your desired outcomes for the future. You can do this-and I’ll be right there with you to support your forward progress! I'm pretty down-to-Earth and can't help but use a bit of humor in session. I aim to create a casual environment that lends itself to natural conversation, so counseling feels as comfortable as possible.
