I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing since 2010. I have a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from UCF and have a background in community mental health, where I saw the importance of providing high-quality care to underserved groups. I provide individual therapy to adults 18+, and am very experienced in helping with trauma, mood disorders, and anxiety. I treat therapy as a collaboration between my expertise in therapy and my client's expertise in their own lives. Building a warm and trusting relationship is vitally important for any type of therapy work that happens along with it. I practice primarily Internal Family Systems therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral therapy (CBT), and person-centered therapy, bringing in a host of other techniques based on a client's need. Clients often end our sessions feeling lighter after talking about something heavy with someone who demonstrates care and understanding, validates their concerns, and helps them develop new patterns of thinking and acting.

The care options presented consist of treatment providers that we have assessed to be quality providers across a range of services for mental health, substance use, relationships, and other well-being needs. We aim to include only high quality providers and multiple viable options for those seeking care.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, providers on Psych Hub pay fees to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
