I am a Licensed Professional Counselor serving Northern Virginia. I have more than 10 years of experience serving people from different demographics and cultural backgrounds. I have experience working with children, adolescents and adults. Currently I accept referrals foradolescents (14+) and adults. I offer a person centered and holistic approach to address concerns related to trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues and other life stressors events. I apply trauma-based interventions utilizing elements of DBT, EMDR, CBT, CPT in conjunction with mindfulness and somatic based interventions. In the first session we will focus on learning about your story, strengths, goals, and my approach to therapy and expectations. I believe this is essential to decide if we want to continue our professional relationship. I believe that the relationship between the therapist and the client is central to therapy, and by creating a space of trust, authentic engagement, and collaborative dialogue you will develop capacity to trust your own ability to create and define your sense of meaning.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service.
