Errin Mclendon
I am a native Baltimorean and with a heart for helping others. I am passionate about helping young adults, adults, couples, and families find their inner strengths to bring about the change they want in their lives through a wide variety of evidence-based theories. I work with people from all walks of life with concerns ranging from adjustment and self-discovery to severe trauma and depression and everything in between. I take pride in providing a safe, nonjudgmental space for others to process, reflect and heal. In therapy, I focus on creating a safe emotional space. I am transparent and maintain a balance between empathic listening and active feedback. My approach to therapy is client centered. I believe in my clients ability to become their best selves. I have worked at a community mental health clinic and within the law enforcement community. I have been described by clients and colleagues as funny, empathic, honest, easy to talk to and nonjudgmental. I will encourage you to reach your goals of a happier, more fulfilling life, whatever that might mean to you. One of my favorite quotes is “Don’t allow your wounds to transform you into someone you are not” - Paulo Coelho Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage; I am here to guide, support, encourage and offer perspective in your therapeutic process.
