I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with MSN from Ohio University. I also obtained my BSN from the University of Akron. Prior to becoming a NP, I worked as an RN for over seven years in different disciplines such as psychiatric, neuro, cardiac, and surgical intensive care units. I developed more compassion and empathy for patients suffering from mental health problems as I understood their concerns. I decided to further my career in psychiatry to mitigate mental health stigmas. . I aim to recognize the unique mental health needs of all my clients in a non-judgmental environment. I use evidence base treatment to support my clients’ well-being, while ensuring that the treatment plan is tailored for the specific needs of my individual clients. My clients are encouraged to be active participant in their treatment plan to ensure positive client outcomes. My goal is to ensure that my clients leave each sessions feeling encourage and empower to be active participants in their treatment plan.
