I have specialized training in working with trauma, chronic pain, anxiety as well as sexual and gender minority issues. My approach is collaborative, tailoring evidence-based treatments to my client’s needs. Respecting the individuality of my clients is vital. I do my own work to understand the forces of cultural oppression and create space to explore its impact on your identities. As a clinical psychologist, my goal is to support you in your journey towards a life that feels worth living so that you can find joy in being human. I've been trained in a bunch of different modalities and treatments so that I can approach issues from multiple perspectives. In general, I like to tailor evidence-based treatments for my client's individual needs. Together, we'll figure out what we want to target, and pick the treatment that fits your needs. For many folks, happiness feels like something that happens to somebody else, especially in these times. Learning how to find joyful moments can be revolutionary. In our society, so often we tie our self-worth to how productive we are; it’s hard to allow ourselves to just be. Learn how to be more than a body that produces. You can be a human being not just a human doing. Be joyful. Thrive.
