Hello! My name is Ezinne Kanu, I am a Psychiatrist and I am happy to be in this wonderful and ever-expanding field of medicine. I hope to bring my love of this field to help as many people as I can. I work with various people of all backgrounds with an array of psychiatric issues such as Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, and Bipolar Disorder. Fun facts about me, I enjoy traveling, cooking, reading books, and watching movies (particularly Sci-fi, Horror/thriller, and documentaries). I believe in a holistic approach to treatment. I provide care to my patients with deep empathy. Listening to and understanding my patients is paramount. My patients know that I am in their corner and feel empowered after our sessions. They walk away feeling understood and that they have built a great rapport with me. I always want to find a way to put a smile on their face, which helps them feel at ease. This is a judgment-free space, we all have struggles in life and I want you to feel free to discuss whatever the issues are. Remember, there is no health without Mental health!.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
