Hello! I’m Fabiola Navarrete Hernandez, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with approximately five years experience practicing in the San Francisco Bay Area. As a therapist, I strive to provide a non-judgmental, culturally-affirming, and empathetic space for my clients to explore challenges related to anxiety, depression, life changes, and self-esteem. My therapeutic approach has foundations in expressive arts therapy, and is grounded in an integrative existential, humanistic, cultural-relational, strength-based, and trauma-informed lens. My therapeutic style is non-directive, collaborative, warm, and playful. I believe we all have inner wisdom, healing, and creative strengths that may be overshadowed by difficult experiences and stressors. As we work together, I invite humor and creativity to take part in your unique process by using various creative methods, such as art, play, music, and play. I am passionate about working with clients in working towards self-development and empowerment, cultivating meaningful connections with themselves and others, and reconnecting with their authentic and creative self, strengths, and values. As a queer Latine/x and child of Central American immigrants, I am committed to prioritizing strength-based and culturally-responsive spaces for BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and other underrepresented communities.
