Welcome to Greater Peace Counseling, PLLC! My name is Florence "Lore" Owen, and I have over 9 years of experience with individuals and their families, presenting with a variety of needs and challenges. I enjoy working with adults, but I have a passion for helping children and adolescents develop positive strategies toward becoming healthy adults. I completed my Masters of Professional Counseling Degree at Liberty University, so I am qualified to offer Faith-enhanced counseling, if desired. I typically use tenets from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic, and other client-centered approaches, in order to meet the unique needs and challenges of each client. As mentioned previously, I do offer Faith-enhanced counseling, on request. Your first session will consist of a comprehensive clinical assessment in order to pinpoint areas of concern, when your challenges began, and how your symptoms impact your quality of life. You and I will then work together to create a unique treatment plan with goals to work toward, which are catered to your specific needs. In the weeks ahead, I will help you to develop strategies and coping skills to meet your therapeutic goals!.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

We only list providers where we have a contractual relationship with a network, group, or practice that a provider is a part of, or where we have a direct contractual relationship with the provider. Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
