Gina Coleman
I am Gina Coleman, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and a mental health counselor specializing in rehabilitation. I am also a licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois, and I hold a certification as an Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor (CADC). My therapy approach is based on personal experience, empathy, and a strong desire to help others. I specialize in all types of disabilities, aiming to help individuals reach their full potential while promoting autonomy and breaking the stigma around mental health and disabilities. As a mother of special needs children and a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), I am passionate about supporting parents, and caregivers, and addressing challenges that may limit abilities. As a clinician, I understand that life has a way of changing our plans. I believe that there is no greater disability or limitation in society than the inability to see oneself in the greatest light. My goal as a clinician is to provide comprehensive intervention and rehabilitation skills, as well as training and empowerment to individuals, families, and groups so that they can achieve their mental health, wellness, education, and career goals.
