Haeden Peaslee
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Art Therapist, and completed my master’s degree at Lesley University in 2016. My identities include white, transmasculine non-binary, and neurodivergent and I am working and living in the traditional territory of the Pawtucket and Massachusett Nations. I utilize a client centered approach with a focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship between therapist and client and encouraging self compassion. I provide a combination of talk and art therapy to clients. In the counseling room I integrate beliefs in trauma informed care, anti-oppression work, neurodiversity, health at every size (HAES), and gender affirming care. I practice principles based therapy which means we will integrate tools from counseling theories based on your needs for an individualized approach. Sessions typically focus on a mix of what you bring to session and links to ongoing themes or goals. I truly value supporting clients in finding the best ways to be gentle with themselves.
