I was born and raised in Texas. I attained my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The University of North Texas in 2013. I then went straight into graduate school two weeks after I completed my bachelor's degree. I graduated with my Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Sam Houston State University in 2015. In between that time, I had a child and moved to Michigan in 2020. I utilize several different evidence-based treatment modalities. I like to use the first session to get to know you, so that I know which approach is going to benefit you the most. My hope is that everyone can take away more tools to help them with their daily lives after every session. The therapeutic relationship is important to me, so I want you to also feel that you were heard and validated after every session.

To make our site free for consumers, providers on Psych Hub pay fees to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. There is no other affiliation between Psych Hub and the providers listed on our site.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
