I have been licensed for 24 years and have worked with children and adults in Community Mental Health settings, parenting programs, Child Protective Services and drug education. I use person-centered, behavior therapy, thought changing, unconditional positive regard, solution-focused and reality therapy to name a few. I have worked with ADHD, OCD, grief issues, trauma and abuse, and mental illness. Many people are hesitant to seek counseling. I know that opening up to someone you don't know can be a scary experience. My approach is non-judgmental and supportive. Together, we will move toward risking changes to improve your life. We will determine what needs to change and set goals that you are comfortable with.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. There is no other affiliation between Psych Hub and the providers listed on our site.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
