Heidi Seekins
I am a licensed mental health counselor specializing in trauma, mood disorders, and substance use and recovery. received my master of mental health counseling in 2018 and have worked in a variety of settings, including residential, crisis stabilization, and community mental health. I offer a holistic style of therapy, drawing from an array of approaches Internal Family Systems, EMDR, Brainspotting, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I am also interested in working with clients who are exploring alternative approaches to their healing such as the medicinal use of psychedelics, in order to properly integrate their experiences. I encourage clients to engage with their internal systems with curiosity in order to shine a light on what needs to be healed. I also provide coping and wellness skills to help clients feel relief right away. I believe that just as every person is unique, each person has their own authentic path to travel. I am honored to serve as a guide and teammate for part of that journey, to support healing and to help people cross the bridges that separate one phase of our lives from the next.
