I have been a nurse practitioner for 18 years, and I love engaging with patients, creating relationships, and helping to move people forward in their healing--whatever that looks like for them. I specialize in anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, and addiction. I provide compassionate and careful care. I believe that medication provides a useful tool in mental wellness and I aim to use these powerful tools meaningfully and precisely. I work with patients I want my patients to feel seen and heard. Mental health (or any health for that matter) is a collaboration and a process. I aim to help patients set both short and long-term goals as well as reflect together on what barriers they may encounter. Then we will craft solutions to get them to where they want to go!.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
