Hello! I have been in the mental health field for over 25 years. I graduated in 2010 in the advanced standing program at Wichita State University. My main area of focus has been in the assessment and treatment of major mental disorders but have also developed a strong interest in helping those that struggle with obesity, weight loss, and body image problems. I also offer bariatric psychological evaluations. At Authentic Connections Mental Health & Wellness, we believe that the past to wellness is enriched by the bonds we form. Our therapeutic approach is rooted in client-centered and solution-focused methodologies, ensuring that therapy is tailored to your unique experiences and aspirations. The goals I typically set are client-centered, based on the client's needs. I like to establish a warm, nonjudgmental environment in which clients feel heard, validated, and supported and feels safe to explore what may be getting in the way of personal growth and begin healing.
