I have helped individuals who have experienced a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, perfectionism, coping with chronic mental or medical conditions, relationship issues, addictions, lack of meaning in life, and grief and loss, among others. I have expertise in applying evidence-informed treatments in a flexible and supportive way. My therapeutic style is supportive, nonjudgmental, and confrontational when needed! I am specialized in trauma-focused interventions, such as Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET). I also use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Unified Protocol (UP) for depression and anxiety, CBT and Motivational Interviewing for addictions, as well as Psychodynamic Therapy to address difficulties with maintaining personal relationships. Individuals I have helped in the past reported better understanding of themselves, improved self-esteem, increased self-compassion, as well as feeling understood and validated.
