As a board-certified clinical social worker, psychotherapist, and Ph.D, I believe prioritizing mental health is vital to happiness and stability in life. I see no difference between mental health and physical health. Seeking help can be one of the most complex parts, so congratulations on taking that step! I’ve been practicing for 13 years, but in the last decade, I have focused on fathers, fatherhood, and supporting growing families. However, I can support other needs as well. Everyone has a unique story and deserves a person-centered approach to care. Once we decide to work together, we’ll act as partners in your therapeutic journey. It’s essential that we communicate openly and honestly and you feel respected in our relationship. I’ll be there to listen to you, challenge you, and support you along the way. I always start with an introductory session, where you can share your story and what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing, vulnerable, and secure. From there, we’ll work together in the following sessions to make these goals a reality for you.
