Jami Bever
As a clinical social worker, I have worked with diverse populations with unique needs. As a therapist, I have focused my advanced training on trauma and attachment. In addition to bringing my professional skills, I bring personal experience as a mother, wife, daughter, and friend. Building a welcoming and accepting therapeutic relationship and alliance is imperative for our work together. I believe in the unique journey that we each have and I strive to create a warm and safe environment in which you can lay your heaviness down and be yourself. Each session is focused to meeting the client where they are in a place of authenticity and healing. I will help you dig deeper, to unravel the corners of your heart that have been hidden, or hurt, for so long to help you discover who you truly are and can be. Clients can expected to feel heard and safe after our first meeting. I will empower you to create your individualized plan for therapy that is based on your own goals and experiences. Each week, we will check in on recent events, reflect on past work, and move forward at your own pace. I will challenge you to grow but also sit with you in the difficult places that might be harder to move through. Therapy is a journey and each week will bring its own pieces that we can explore together.
