Jamie Sarten
Therapy is not easy, and it takes a lot of courage to ask for help. I strive to provide a safe, warm, and collaborative environment when working with my clients. I offer a solution-focused approach to therapy, helping clients focus on solutions to their problems, set realistic goals for themselves, and develop healthy coping strategies. I utilize CBT techniques and positive psychology principles such as positive self-talk, highlighting your strengths, finding your identity and empathy building. I have over 6 years of experience working with clients of all ages and backgrounds. I am passionate about working with adolescents, young adults, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, social anxiety, parent-child conflict, marital conflict, emotional abuse, ADD/ADHD, Autism, LGBTQ+, trauma, and relationship issues. I am EMDR-trained. My ultimate goal is to help guide and support my clients during times of discomfort and uncertainty. My sense of humor and gentleness aid in creating a non-judgmental, safe, and collaborative environment for my clients. *We do not accept EAPs at this time.
