I have worked in a number of settings, including outpatient, offense specific, residential, crisis, and mobile response. I specialize in substance use, mood disorders, behavioral concerns, as well as day to day stressors. When meeting with me, you can expect compassion and empathy, as well as someone who will keep you accountable to your goals. I engage in evidence based and trauma informed practice, with an emphasis in solution focused brief therapy. After our first session, you will have a treatment plan outlining your primary concerns and goals. I like to be concrete in our action steps so that we are always on the same page. Depending on your needs, I may assign handouts or homework, and you will always leave with an understanding of what comes next in our time together.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
