Jill Brick
Jill Brick, LCSW, I have been married for over 25 years and have 2 adult children. Experience working with children, teens, young adults, elderly, couples, and families. Extensive experience with others struggling with negative self-talk, anxiety, suicidal ideation, trauma, grief, anger, and/or family conflict. Guiding clients by empowering them with healthy coping strategies to manage negative self-talk, anxiety, and depression. Setting realistic goals that improve one's overall well-being. Therapy sessions typically involve Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) which is a type of psychotherapy that helps individuals deal with current problems and improve their quality of life. It is often used to treat mental health conditions like depression, anxiety, and PTSD, but can also be beneficial for other mental and physical health issues. It is important that my clients feel safe, comfortable and can trust me. I have a positive, realistic outlook on life & have valuable, practical advice. I approach goal setting with my clients that is very tailored to their individual personalities and based on their stated needs. After getting to know them, "we" together create appropriate, attainable, and realistic goals that will improve their overall well-being. I want my clients to feel heard, supported, and valued. And leave feeling empowered, worthy, and capable.
