Hi my name is Jodi. I have been practicing clinical social work for 25 years. I’ve provided psychotherapy to individuals and families and clinical supervision for new therapists. My experience includes outpatient treatment, family court and forensic counseling, addiction treatment and community based work with high risk families, youth, parents, and the seriously mentally ill. Honestly, outside of being a mom I can’t think of anything else I’d rather do each day. I am a mother of 3 children and 3 dogs. I have the gift of establishing rapport and making clients feel at ease. “I never told anyone that before” is feedback I often receive. Trust and being in a safe place to share are keys to building positive therapeutic relationships… and you will find that with me. I want you to feel better and be empowered to manage the stressors in your life. You will learn how to make the changes necessary for healing and be able to answer the question “Why am I struggling in the first place?”.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

We only list providers where we have a contractual relationship with a network, group, or practice that a provider is a part of, or where we have a direct contractual relationship with the provider. That contract governs the terms of participation on the Psych Hub site, and in some cases, as mentioned below, the provider’s, group’s, or network’s use of Psych Hub's educational content. Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
