I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Colorado. I have worked in the Social Work field in a variety of roles for the past 10 years. I have worked with people experiencing a wide variety of mental health issues, including but not limited to, depression, anxiety, ADHD, as well as substance abuse and trauma. I also have worked with families to increase communication skills. I believe the therapeutic relationship to be highly collaborative. I generally utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing as my modalities, although I also think it is important to tailor techniques to the individual. I use these because they focus on the collaboration mentioned above. I believe therapy loses its effectiveness without the active participation of all involved. More important, the direction is determined by the client. The role of the therapist is to assist people with life's challenges. It takes a great amount of courage to ask for assistance. This is a responsibility I don't take lightly. Everyone needs assistance from time to time. I hope I can assist and I look forward to working with you. Thank you for your time.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
