I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Illinois. Most clients I work with experience anxiety, depression, trauma, and life changes. I primarily see with young and middle aged adults for individual therapy. My approach to therapy is to meet my clients where they are at and to encourage their existing strengths. I pull from a variety of therapeutic approaches including cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, and strengths based. I have practice working with clients experiencing anxiety, ADHD, life changes, trauma, depression and relationship challenges. Anxiety and depression can look different for each person so goals will be personalized based on your experience. We will look at coping skills, thought challenging techniques and skills to build healthy relationships.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. There is no other affiliation between Psych Hub and the providers listed on our site.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
