I bring 30+ years of experience to the practice of psychotherapy and patient treatment. A Graduate degree in clinical psychology along many training institutes and supervision has enabled me to evaluate carefully and focus accurately on client obstacles and personal problems. A humanistic/relationship style is the pathway for my treatment method My initial approach is always designed to establish trust and comfort level with clients. Once established, I will work with client to help identify thinking patterns that may be disruptive and self defeating. In all cases, encouragement, empathy and often humor are the benchmarks of my personal approach. The focus of therapy for me is the removal of obstacles or blocks that prevent the client from achieving the goals they set at our early meetings. The effort will hopefully include confidence , insight and self esteem.

The care options presented consist of treatment providers that we have assessed to be quality providers across a range of services for mental health, substance use, relationships, and other well-being needs. Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, providers on Psych Hub pay fees to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. There is no other affiliation between Psych Hub and the providers listed on our site.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
