My passion is guiding people using psychotherapy towards a more fulfilled sense of wholeness and aliveness. Motivated by my interest in understanding and supporting people, I completed a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health counseling at Naropa University. My professional background includes counseling for adults and couples with a range of challenges including anxiety, depression, childhood wounding and relationship issues. My practice is mindfulness and somatically based. I’m trained in using meditation, effective communication and supporting those with addictions. I’m also Hakomi level 2 and Gestalt trained, and have experience with DBT. I’m informed by the belief that health and healing are unique to each person, and we are all moving towards greater wholeness. I create a space of non-judgment, compassion and humor so that my clients can explore their experiences with kindness and understanding. I aim to support my clients in developing skills to slow down, notice their internal experience and begin to orient towards their inner wisdom. Many of my clients see a gradual easing of symptoms in the first few months of therapy and sustained improvement thereafter. Taking the first step towards healing can be intimidating. Having an experienced therapist on your side can make the difference.
