My name is Karen Heard, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in social work. I am dedicated, and committed to providing compassionate, client-centered therapy. My approach is creating a nonjudgmental space for individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, infertility, relationship issues, and life transitions. I am deeply committed to supporting people in improving their mental health and overall well-being, empowering them to live more fulfilling lives. My approach to therapy is centered around helping individuals overcome the challenges that interfere with their everyday lives. I draw from a wide range of therapeutic styles and techniques to tailor treatment to the unique needs of each client. These approaches include Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Psychotherapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy. My therapeutic process is a compassionate collaboration where clients are supported with making meaningful life changes. Through this partnership, we work together to identify goals and develop strategies that foster growth and healing. My aim is to empower clients to unlock their potential, navigate life's difficulties, and create the positive changes they desire.
