As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years of experience, I firmly believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. Throughout my career, I've dedicated myself to supporting individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, and other mental health conditions. My approach includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, and EMDR. My passion stems from experiences within my own family. Witnessing my mother's struggle with severe depression and the impact of untreated mental health issues has driven me to help others seek the support they need.I specialize in working with depression and trauma, particularly among veterans and adolescents. Adolescence can be an especially challenging time, with higher rates of depression, anxiety, and suicide attempts. I am committed to providing support during these critical years. In our sessions, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable and open. Together, we will develop skills such as relaxation and breathing techniques, and visualization exercises. My goal is to help you navigate life's challenges with resilience and confidence. When I'm not providing therapy, I enjoy taking walks with my two dogs, which helps me stay grounded and connected to the present moment.
