Kathryn Dunn
As a compassionate and authentic therapist, my goal is to support you in stepping out of shame and self-doubt to foster greater self-trust, authenticity, and connection. I support LGBTQ+ people navigating the complexities of trauma, shame, oppression, and disconnection to reconnect with resilience, joy, pleasure, and presence. I specialize in trauma, grief and life transitions, LGBTQ+ support, relationships, and conscious parenting/healing intergenerational trauma. I utilize a strengths-based, body-centered, trauma-informed, intersectional, and liberation-focused approach to create a safe space for you to connect with your body and emotions. My goal is to help you break free from disempowering patterns, step more fully into your authenticity, and live a more connected and embodied life. In our sessions, you can expect a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you can explore your feelings, experiences, and narratives. I prioritize building a strong therapeutic relationship, focusing on helping you build self-trust, self-compassion, self-agency, and deeper connections with yourself and others. Together, we’ll work towards embodiment and responsiveness in the present moment, empowering you to navigate life with intention and authenticity.
