Hi, I’m Katie. I am a servant, wife, mother, and helper. I believe that people are inherently good, and that people can change. I’m a trained systemic thinker, and I aim to help people be better versions of themselves. I specialize in family issues, trauma, anxiety, stress, relationship issues, depression, parenting issues, life transitions, self-esteem, and anger management. I specialize in working with families, couples, and children who have endured trauma. I operate systemically and believe in a wholistic approach with every client. I believe in a strength-based and future focused approach to therapy. Connection and authenticity are the cornerstones of my therapeutic process with every client.  A critical piece of a successful therapeutic relationship is client feedback. I am consistently assessing how I can be most helpful to each one of my clients. My hope is that my clients become confident decision makers in their own life, and feel empowered to do what's best for themselves and their families.

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
