I began my educational journey wanting to be a nurse, and then a designer. I learned that my reason for seeking education and a future career was to help others. I chose therapy as my path due to my struggle to find adequate mental health support when I needed it most. I continue to be driven to pursue this work because I can see the positive changes in others and enjoy joining my clients on their journey to achieve stable mental health. I enjoy working with a wide range of individuals to create a personalized therapy plan that begins with getting to know each other while building skills. I am passionate about the integration of therapy and creative outlets. I focus on trauma recovery while building coping skills to manage symptoms. I create a calm and safe environment where clients can feel free to communicate in whatever is most comfortable. I approach therapy through a collaborative lens and expect the client to be an active participant.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, providers on Psych Hub receivespay fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
