Kayla Istifu
I am a license Master Social Worker with experience working with adolescents and families. My experience as a School Social Worker has increased my expertise working with middle school and high school aged adolescents who need support when struggling with depression, anxiety, and trauma related issues. Our youth go through so much, especially in these past few years. Therefore I hope to be the person that can support you in identifying your strengths, clarify your thoughts and feelings, and understand yourself and others. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person centered, Strength based and motivational interviewing. It is my passion to help adolescents gain the coping skills that are so needed such as stress management, conflict resolution, mindfulness, and grief support. Adolescents are the future! Therefore I hope to be the person that can support you in identifying your strengths, clarify your thoughts and feelings, and understand yourself and others.
