Keisha has over 15 years of experience working with a diverse population in Ohio. Keisha has worked with individuals who have experienced trauma, intimate partner violence, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, transitions, grief and stress. Keisha's professional areas of interest include self-esteem, stress, family conflict, racial identity, ethnic/cultural issues, minority issues, women's issues, and the intersection of race, culture, class, gender, spirituality and mental wellness.  I use a strength-based, person centered, integrated approach, working collaboratively to identify, clarify, and create meaningful treatment goals. I work to meet individuals where they are, with the understanding that you are the expert of your own experience. I draw from a variety of evidence-based methodologies to create a unique therapeutic experience for each individual. Through this process, you will improve your ability to function and cope. In therapy, you learn skills that encourage new attitudes and feelings towards yourself, others, and challenging life situations. Therapy is a healing process that necessitates commitment, collaboration, and investment. The healing work of therapy occurs within the office but also outside it, as you put the lessons you’ve learned to work in your day-to-day life.
