Keith Brown
Dr. Keith Brown has been working in the mental health field since 1997 as a therapist/counselor, educator, trainer, and supervisor. Keith previously was the Director of the CMHC Program at South University in Cleveland, Ohio. Keith has previously been the co-chair of the Hoarding Connection of Cuyahoga County. Keith has provided several presentations at local, state, and national conventions as well as provides CEU’s on several topics in the mental health field including Ethics and Supervision. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Ursuline College in 1997, his Master of Arts in Community Counseling from John Carroll University in 1999, and his Doctoral Degree in the Counseling Education and Supervision Program at the University of Akron in 2009. Keith completed the Mental Health Executive Leadership Program at Case Western Reserve University in 2009 and completed the Ladder to Leadership Program through the Robert Wood Foundation in 2010. Keith is also a practicing Professional Clinical Counselor and has his supervisory endorsement from the state of Ohio. Dr. Brown utilizes multiple modalities suited to the needs of clients but is grounded in CBT and REBT. Dr. Brown integrates a wholistic approach with theoretical interventions and believes in the "client leads the way" approach to treatment planning and goal setting. Office hours are limited at this time, but he will work with you the best he can to provide the most convenient times for you.
