I am a laid-back therapist who likes to avoid pathologizing. I work to validate and provide psychoeducation to help you find what feels right for you. I utilize skills from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and somatic interventions. My goals are to teach you to feel in control and informed by your emotions rather than subjected to them. My wheelhouse is anxiety, depression/mood disorders, executive functioning, and neurodivergences. I am a good fit for someone who is ready for a change and wants to dig in. I like to teach the WHY of skills versus offering generic skills so that we can make them resonate with you. I am a "fast therapist" who is future focused and avoids pathologizing. During sessions we will be doing a mix of processing and learning about WHY you are experiencing the symptoms you are having so that we can create customized skills and structures to help you accommodate yourself.
