It can be daunting to take the leap to seek therapy, and you deserve to know what you are getting yourself into when considering working with a mental health provider. I am interested in working with you to address the things that are making life hard for you at the moment- whatever those things may be. With a supportive relationship, my clinical experience, and the use of evidence-based practices, we can work towards the goals that feel most important to you. My approach to therapy draws from my experience using evidence-based practices and working with a wide variety of clients. I aim to tailor my approach to each individual, balancing what feels most comfortable to the client with what has been proven to be most effective for that person's presenting concerns. The therapeutic relationship is paramount to any approach, and I place a great deal of value on prioritizing the formation of that relationship. If nothing else, I want clients to leave a session feeling respected and validated by this process. New perspectives, concrete techniques, and a plan of how to proceed into the rest of your day/week/month can also be expected.
