As an individual I know the importance of being heard and the value of time. My focus using solution-focused techniques allows us to use what is already working and revamp it so it can be more effective. I obtained my MA degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2018. My experience working with individuals, adults, and children in different settings has attuned me to how unique each need is and how to get to where the client wants to be in life. My approach to therapy is person-centered, meaning you are the driver through your life story and I am the passenger providing optional routes. I will provide the time and sessions needed to make your time in counseling effective. With that being said, I will provide different techniques based on your area of focus, while also providing confrontation on things that may not be effective. “Why is counseling hard sometimes?” because you are not only rewiring your brain, but you are also rewiring your DNA. You are working through your own lifestyle, while carrying what was learned from prior generations. Changes in habits, thought patterns, emotional regulation, and more that you make through sessions and applied in your daily life are changing your present and your future. That is the power of growth! Growth is not limited; it just takes time and effort.
