Hi, my name is Dr. Kinikia Hodge. I am a combat veteran and a volunteer. Since joining the military, I learned the importance of mental health firsthand. I dedicated my life to the pursuit of helping others put the pieces back together. Since COVID-19, many people faced increased anxiety/depression, and that did not stop life's challenges from happening. I wanted to do something about that. I obtained my BSW and MSW from TAMU-Commerce, and my DSW from the University of Southern California. My approach to therapy is to use scientific back modalities. I believe focusing in the here and now allows you to process your challenges today. Although there will be a need to reflect on the past, the use of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT along with Solution Focused Therapy. I am equipped to help you learn tools to cope and motivate you to be your best self. “I’m so glad you took this first step of reaching out for support!
