Greetings! I work with clients on issues such as communication, control, relationships with self and others, planning and decision-making, self-esteem, coping with changes, and substance abuse. I'm person-centered in my style. I respect my clients and they determine what topics we cover in therapy and how deeply they want to delve into their issues. Drawing from treatment models such as strengths-based, solution focused lens; we work together to develop a plan that accomplishes a client's goals. Through cognitive-behavioral therapy clients explore relationships between, thoughts, feelings and behaviors. Through CBT, clients reveal the dysfunctional thoughts that lead to self-destructive behaviors and beliefs. Clients feel supported as they try different communication styles, coping skills, mindfulness work, and emotional regulation. Clients can expect to feel understood, supported and respected while they navigate difficult feelings and situations. Clients will learn coping skills and self-regulation.
