I work with individuals, couples, and groups across the life cycle, addressing concerns including (but not limited to); anxiety/depression, interpersonal skills, work/life balance, parenting, chronic/acute illness, and relationships issues for heterosexual, queer, gay and lesbian couples. My therapeutic style is warm, direct, and interactive. I believe that each of us can make mindful choices to create a gratifying life and to care for ourselves, our families, and our relationships. We can practice skillfully and create meaning in the difficulties and catastrophes that can complicate our course. By utilizing various methods such as purposeful conversation, mindfulness, body-centered awareness, and client-led goal setting, we will find the balance you desire for your life. Therapeutic techniques such as CBT, motivational interviewing, and correction of cognitive distortions will be incorporated into sessions to address concerns covering all aspects of the human experience, including stress and anxiety, anger management, grief and loss, trauma, and depression.
