I work with individuals and couples who want to take risks and live meaningful lives and are open to looking at past patterns that aren’t working anymore. I will help you figure out where you want to get to, what is holding you back and how to get there. Over the last 20 years, as an integrative psychiatrist I have found that therapy is where the most long-term meaningful changes occur, so I have chosen that to be the focus of my practice. The primary therapy techniques I use are cognitive, behavioral, somatic and movement. My goal is to make you less dependent on external treatments, including myself, so that you can be more resilient and self-empowered. I do not do medication management only. My first and most important goal is building connection and trust. For that reason, I always start with a comprehensive assessment so that I can understand your experience. During this assessment we will focus on your strengths, clarify your goals, and there will be time allowed for you to ask questions. Often in the first session we can begin to create a plan to reach your goals.
