Hello! I have been a clinical social worker for over 15 years. For a number of those years, I worked at Walter Reed National Military Medical center where I specialized in a wide range of mental health issues, including Depression, Anxiety, PTSD, Grief and Loss, Sleep Problems, Relationship problems, and Work Stressors. I am compassionate and supportive, but may also challenge you by examining the sources of your pain, questioning old ways of thinking, and then introducing new perspectives and coping skills. My down-to-earth therapy style includes a collaborative, eclectic approach which is tailored to the individual's strengths and weaknesses. Many former clients report that their therapy sessions have inspired new perspectives and ways of thinking, which has enabled them to move forward in life and experience happiness.

Do participating providers pay us?

To make our site free for consumers, Psych Hub receives fees from provider groups, networks, or individual providers to connect with potential clients who are a fit for their services. Some also purchase Psych Hub's educational content for practitioner training and client support. These fees enable us to operate our service, including screening and updating information on each provider.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
