I am a Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in the state of Colorado. I am primarily interested in working with adults in a virtual counseling setting. I am originally from upstate NY, where I attended both undergraduate and graduate school, earning my Bachelor's in Psychology (2018) and my Masters in Mental Health Counseling (2022). I take an integrative approach to counseling, operating through a relational, attachment-based lens. I incorporate relational and experiential techniques from modalities such as ACT, IFS, Interpersonal Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Narrative Therapy in my work with clients. I specialize in the treatment of attachment and complex trauma, family/interpersonal conflict, and identity/self-esteem work. I’m a big believer in harm reduction, holistic wellness, and trauma-informed care. I also love using humor in sessions as a tool to connect, and I often invite my clients to do the same when it feels therapeutic. To me, the most important part of effective therapy is cultivating a strong therapeutic relationship between myself and the client. I take the time to build a strong rapport with my clients before 'digging in', so that they feel safe and seen through our working relationship. I often provide my clients with take-away resources and handouts, so that they can feel empowered and capable of enacting change in-between sessions as well as during.
