This world has been a challenging place in the last few years (understatement) I'm here to help. I work with people who have been affected by the stress of daily life, depression, anxiety, disordered eating, body image, and body oppression. Foundational to my work are the principles of Health At Every Size (HAES®), harm reduction, social justice, and compassion. I believe that your lived experiences are valid and essential for our work together. My Philosophy of practice is built on the foundations of kindness, curiosity, and compassion. Together, we will work on your personal therapeutic goals. I incorporate this philosophy with evidence-based therapy to best suit your needs, including Mindfulness, CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT skills (dialectical behavioral therapy Skills), MI (motivational interviewing), and more. Our first session is a diagnostic interview to begin to build therapeutic trust. We will set goals together, and make a treatment plan that makes sense for you. Follow-up sessions are 60 minutes during which we'll address your goals on an ongoing basis. As a therapist, I offer a partnership and space for healing in the therapeutic process. Based on your specific needs, you'll gain new coping skills and learn to change thought patterns and behaviors that you find unhelpful.
