My name is Nechama Wach, and I am an LCSW with a degree from NYU Silver School of Social Work. As an eclectic therapist, I integrate diverse therapeutic techniques to create an individualized approach for each client. With a foundation in CBT and DBT, I also incorporate psychodynamic therapy and somatic intervention. My goal is to tailor treatment to meet the unique needs of every individual in therapy. My mission is to help others learn how to tap into their inner strengths and resources to help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of daily living. My passion is working with adolescents and young adults navigating life transitions and struggling with anxiety and depression, particularly related to emerging adulthood issues or interpersonal challenges with peers and family. I strive to create a supportive environment to help gain insight and learn tools to promote change. .

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
