My career post-internships began in the psychiatric hospitalization setting. After this I moved on to residential facilities for youth who often struggled with severe trauma, neglect, abandonment and abuse. After a time, I chose to open a private practice where I continue to see those suffering from trauma as well as numerous other concerns related to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and mood/thought disorders. Recently I began to work with professional and college athletes as well for the psychoeducational connection between physical and emotional trauma in addition to providing support for the pressures that they experience.

How do we determine which ones to display?

Rather than make specific provider recommendations, we present options and information so you can make an informed decision on what provider best fits your needs. Where we have multiple participating providers, we present multiple options (and where we don't, we prioritize adding more options to our site over time). We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
