I have a Master of Divinity in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Ashland Theological Seminary in Ashland, OH. I have experience counseling in secular and Christian venues with diverse populations. I am also a published author. I like to use cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to deal with the surface issues and help clients learn new patterns of thinking and living. My specialty is to address the client's belief system, which drives negative behavior and thought patterns. I do this with Christ-centered directed imagery. I am trained in trauma and grief counseling as well. Clients can expect to take away a more positive perception of themselves that will empower them to live more peaceful joyful lives with themselves, others and God.
