Hi! My name is Lexa Goldman, and I am both a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist! My main passion and specialization is counseling individuals in the LGBTQ+ community and their loved ones. I especially enjoy working with LGBTQ+ young adults as it is a vital time for them to find acceptance and build upon their self-worth. I utilize person-centered and strength-based theory in order to provide a holistic approach for my clients. I am drawn to the resilience of the human spirit and use these approaches to help cultivate it in my clients. I tailor my approach for each individual client based on their personality, life experiences, and culture. My goal is to create a trusting therapeutic relationship in a non-judgmental and accepting environment where my clients feel affirmed and safe. I focus on my client's goals and help guide you to obtain them.

We present providers whose capabilities, insurance coverage, availability and other attributes best match your stated needs. If many providers appear to equally meet your needs, we display a selection of them at random. Our decision on which participating providers to display is never impacted by the amount of fees we receive from them.

What is the relationship between Psych Hub and these providers?

The providers listed on our site are all independent entities from Psych Hub. We have a contractual relationship with each provider that governs the terms of their participation on the site, and in some cases, as mentioned above, their use of Psych Hub's educational content. What causes us to remove providers from our site?

We require that providers meet all licensing requirements of states where they offer services. If a provider loses their license, they are removed from our site for that state or service. We also seek feedback from users on providers they find on our site. We investigate significant negative feedback and remove providers if we conclude that to be appropriate.
